From Dusty Roads Of A Rural Community At “Mbaduku” To Global Dreams – Orduen Shagba

From Dusty Roads Of A Rural Community At “Mbaduku” To Global Dreams👇👇

I grew up in a place where dreams felt too big for the soil we stood on.

Where barefoot walks to school weren’t a choice, but a way of life.
Where we fetched water from streams, studied under dim lanterns, and learned to dream through the cracks in our reality.
Where opportunities were scarce, but hope was something we carried in our hearts like a seed waiting for rain.

We didn’t have much — but we had vision.
We saw beyond the rusted roofs, beyond the silence of forgotten places, beyond the limits the world tried to put on us.
We dreamt of classrooms with lights, cities that sparkled, and futures that didn’t have to apologize for where they began.

And even though the journey has not been easy, we’re still moving.
We’ve cried, we’ve lost, we’ve been overlooked and underestimated.
But we’ve also learned, grown, fought, and risen.
Step by step.
Voice by voice.
Lesson by lesson.

Some of us are still in the trenches, grinding through each day.
Some have made it — now sitting in rooms we once only saw in movies.
And some are on the way, breaking generational cycles with nothing but faith and grit.

We’ve met people who believed in us, and people who didn’t.
We’ve walked with some, outgrown others, and we’ll still meet many more on this journey.

But here’s the truth — whether you’re in the village or the city, on the rise or at the top:
We are all on a journey.
And it’s not about where you started, but where you’re going and who you’re becoming.

To those still struggling: don’t give up. Your beginning does not disqualify your becoming.
To those who’ve succeeded: stay humble and reach back. We rise higher by lifting others.
To the world: greatness is being born in forgotten places — every single day.

We may have come from “nowhere”, but we are headed somewhere that matters.
Because the future doesn’t belong to those with perfect starts.
It belongs to those who never stopped moving.
